WATER IN THE BASEMENT

Water was seeping into the basement around the front porch during heavy rains. During the spring (2010), Sam designed and installed a drainage system to keep water from sitting around the front of the house. (He had to remove some old terra cotta pipes and the overgrown boxwoods.) Kevin and Ben came over to give Sam a hand, and neighbors stopped by to offer advice and bring tools. (We have awesome neighbors!) Dad donated some PVC pipes for the project.
